Please note, I only had sighted assist once with this, I have translated the steps from my Be My eyes call into text. I trust these steps will cary out the appropriate actions.
The steps I carried out were,
setting date/time,
reading through the main menu and a couple submenus,
Enabling mix minus on the USB channel,
disabling the limiter
the Low cut is already enabled from factory.
Above the headphone volume output knobs 3, and 4, is a row of small square buttons.
Moving from left to right we have,
menue,
play,
stop,
record.
Play, moves you up the menue,
stop moves down the menue,
record is used for confirm/select.
The first thing you need to do when you first boot up the recorder, or if it has been reset to factory settings is to set the date and time.
You will need sighted assist for this task. if you don’t have sighted assist,
You drop into a menu of
year,
day,
month,
time.
you must move to the desired selection and hit record to drop into the sub menu of selections within the desired catigory.
Then select, and hit record to confirm and proceed back to this menu of year, date, month, time.
then select the next desired catigory and make further selections.
The time is in military, 24 hour.
the time menu is layed out,
hour,
minutes.
The next menue selection past the ,time is okay. Press record to select/enter and go back to the recorders main screen.
Hit the menue button.
The main menu is layed out:
files,
sound pad,
Microphone settings,
File transfer,
settings
When dropped into the Microphone settings menu,
Low cut,
limiter
When you have select Low cut, you have checkboxes on the following:
mic1,
mic2,
mic3,
mic4
hit menu to go back to the previous menu
When you have selected the limiter, you have checkboxes on the following:
mic1,
mic2,
mic3,
mic4
When you have selected Settings from the main menue, you have:
USB Mix Minus,
set Date time
LCD Contrast,
Battery,
Auto Power off,
SD Card,
Factory Reset.
Once you have selected USB Mix Minus from the settings menu, you have:
Off,
On.
