I’ve got a local in-house radio station, a local shoutcast server that I can push through my Amazon Alexa, Powered by the station playlist Suite of software including voicetrack server. One thing that I haven’t heard of people do in the Internet style space of radio is broadcasting live from wherever. This is something I’ve always dreamed of doing, and I wanted to do it with minimal set up, so that I could be drinking and not have to think about much other than plugging a mic or headset in. I found the creative X5 gamer headset with Commander Mike, and it sounds surprisingly good! Plugs in via USB C to the Windows 11notetaker that I came up with that is described in another post on DrewSound. Here is some fun that we had last night 🙂 check out the air check below.
