A lot of microphones have a phones output for monitoring. The issue this causes us as Voiceover users, is we lose speech, without having a pare of headphones.

This little speaker is just a bit bigger than a golf ball, and has a built-in eighth inch plug on the side. I am using it with the Rode Video Mic Plus, and it works perfectly. It’s light weight, so as not to put to much extra force on the USB C plug going into my phone. It’s just around 15 bucks US, and charges via USB, not, USB c. Check it out here.
