I’ve always been, and still am, a believer in a music demo. I take Lyft, ride share, to and from work every day, and meet a lot of super interesting people. Some of them, I’d like to pass my music off too.
I have found that their’s something, enticing, and almost gift like, about phisycal media, a physical demo. The problem is, cd’s are now pretty much obsolete. This does leave a couple of options, we have, the QR code, which can lead to a website. That’s cool, and I’m not against it. The micro sd card, I’m not really for. The Usb flashdrive, I’m almost for, but, what about the, USB c, flash drive! Ah, that’s the one I want. Most phones, especially Droids, and newer Iphones sport USB c ports.
I found one, Sandisc, only sporting a USB c, plug, 32 gb, for just under 10 bucks! It fits into Iphones even with a otterbox like case attached.

‘Because these are still kind of in the, unknown, you get that extra element of surprise! wo! what the? cool! effect! It worked yesterday, as I shopped one to a friend I have made at our local UPS store.
I’d suggest mp3 or m4a files, but the format is up to you. I created a snazzy crossfaded demo with SPL Studio, and set it as 01 and then put the individual tracks as 02 through 11.
Pretty cool concept. Listen to mine below.
