Creed released the 25th anniversary edition of Human Clay yesterday, both on digital and, Vinyl. The digital rerelease has a lot to offer, as far as content. If you are an avid Creed fan such as myself, you should deff check it out! The entire live concert is breath takingly spectacular! If, you are also in a position of going for the vinyl, and, you already have the original, don’t shell out for the 25th anniversary. it’s, litterly, as far as the audio, the same, content… Lets Compare. This first clip, is the original, backed up to the 25th anniversary release, and, it, for the most part will sound like it came from the same pressing, accept for some very small clicks, Where I lined up the audio. The volume is the same, the sound stage is the same, the EQ is the same.

As you read the description out at Amazon, you don’t see that the vinyl is, remastered, but, when you look at the cd or, streaming, they are remastered, but, this is, vinyl, not digital, so, their you go. I will say that I believe the original pressing, is, on better vinyl. Listen to the original, no doubt I’ve played it a bit more, so it’s a bit more noisy in the popping, but, the 25th anniversary, is much more whirring sound, in the stereo field. So, if you want the album on vinyl you might want the older pressing, although it doesn’t come through in the music much on the rereleas.

again, obviously, this is just to compare the vinyl. Again, check out the digital release. It is dope! All the extra content makes it worth it and I wish they would put the live footage out on DVD including a 5.1 audio track! That’s definitely on my wishlist!
